President George Washington shared that wise counsel at the birth of our nation, when our government was at its least. Even then, Mr. Washington understood the risk of relying too heavily on government to act in the interest of the people.
Those who support our conservative agenda know that prosperity does not come from the government; that freedom and liberty are made whole when government removes itself from the lives of we the people. As State Representative, I look forward to working with you and my colleagues in the State House of Representatives to harness that "dangerous servant and... fearful master" against which Mr. Washington warned.
